In 2000, accomplished artist Lindy L Grant suffered a massive stroke that paralyzed her right arm as well as severely hindering her ability to use language (aphasia). In order to continue with her art, she had to learn how to paint with her left hand. For this series, Lindy re-intreprets some of her pre-stroke work with the intention to apply a new viewpoint and post-stroke style to old works. Compare the work by clicking on the "Right Hand" and "Left Hand" links below each picture. For more works, please visit Lindy's artist page.
